ENGAGING WITH GOD: How the Gospel Changes DUTY to DELIGHT, Courtney Cherest >>
PPAC, Room #170 (3)

All of us want a vibrant, fulfilling, meaningful walk with Christ, but HOW do we get that?? We know that the
answer is: an active prayer life and regular time in the Scriptures. But sometimes, the most important thing falls to the bottom of our priority list. Wouldn’t it be awesome if we REALLY DESIRED those moments in God’s presence? Come and learn how the gospel invigorates and motivates our hearts to WANT to do the critical spiritual disciplines of prayer and Bible-reading every day.

Fighting Anxiety and Depression, Drew Waggoner >> PPAC, Room #160 (3)

If you or someone you know struggles with anxiety and depression come learn how to “help yourself” in the battle. Don’t get labeled as someone who battles anxiety and depression and then wait for help to come to you or wait for a medication to be the only solution. That’s not going to be enough. You can armor up, tell anxiety and depression to “square up” and then fight!

Men Don’t Cry and Other Lies We Believe (Guys Only), Nick Mazza & Jordan Gillette >>
PPAC, Room #150 (3)

There are many lies that we believe about how to honor God as young and old men. What if we have accidentally believed things our culture has told us instead of what God wants you to know about yourself as a man? Let’s figure out what God says in order to launch us into a life of Biblical manhood!

Bible Q and A, Dr. Tiberius Rata and Zac Hess >> Barnes Student Center, The Commons, Room #110 (1)

The Bible and Theology are relevant to every area of life. True growth takes place when we ask good questions. Is God Really Good?, Dr. Randall Smith >> Barnes Student Center, The Globe Theater #132 (1)

Have you ever heard someone ask: “If God is good, how can He let that happen? It’s a simple but important question. If God is good, and God is in control, why doesn’t He stop terrible things from happening? Thankfully, God’s Word isn’t silent on this. He told us, and we need this information to be an effective testimony to a hurting friend that has felt the pain of terrible abuse.

Apologetics Camp, Sean McDowell >> PPAC, Room #135 (3)

Pre-registration required. This track is a part of the optional Apologetics Camp add-on and students registered for the camp must attend this track.

Are you wondering what’s next for your life? What does it mean to know God’s will? Have you ever asked yourself, “What does God want me to do?” Knowing what God wants you to do can be a difficult concept, and it’s not something that we can ever master perfectly. While every Christian has a plan from God, understanding that plan might be challenging. Join this class to explore what God wants for your future.

They Fought, They Divorced – What Do I Do Now?, Bruce Barlow >>
Barnes Student Center, Leedy (1)

Some come through their parents’ conflicts and divorce healthy. Some come through them scarred and emotionally crippled. What makes the difference? This track is aimed at giving you tools to find comfort in the losses and to challenge the lies. You will walk away with tools to separate the truth from the lies in your heart that result from your parents’ struggles.

How To Get Closer To Jesus, Josiah Bogue >> PPAC, Black Box Theater Room #170 (3)

Are you new to following Jesus? Have you been around Jesus your whole life but have never felt super close to Him? Does the Bible feel boring, confusing, or intimidating most of the time? Does prayer feel like no one’s listening?  In this track, we’ll talk about how to get closer to Jesus in everyday life and how to engage the Bible in a way that makes a difference, how to pray honestly and authentically, and what it looks like to follow Jesus in the day to day of school, work, and family.  If this is the summer you finally want to prioritize your relationship with Jesus with all your heart, this Power Track is for you!

What Does God Really Want?, Dr. Randall Smith >> Barnes Student Center, Globe Theater #132 (1)

Some people teach that God has rules and we need to keep them or He’ll get mad. Other people teach that God longs to be loved by us and will understand if we don’t get it all right. Does God ever really explain what He wants from us, and is it something I can really pull off, (or is it too hard?)

Holiness in My Sexuality, Keith Minier >> Barnes Student Center, Henry West #143 (1)

We live in a culture that promotes, sells, and celebrates all things sex. How should the Christian engage all of the chatter?  Let’s talk about how this is actually not anything new and God has had something to say about all things sex from day one. Let’s do the work of seeing what God wants to know about sex, sexuality, holiness, gender, etc.
