Attendance: It is expected that all those registered for Momentum 2022 will be in attendance during all required main sessions and Power Track sessions.

Dorms:

  • Guys are not allowed in girls’ dorms and girls are not allowed in guys’ dorms. This includes the lobbies.
  •  You are financially responsible for any property damage. Any damage pre-existing in your room when you arrive should be reported on a Room Condition Report and turned into your youth worker on the first day so that you will not be billed at the end of the week. Momentum cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen items. Keep your dorm room locked when you are not in your room and don’t leave personal items anywhere but in your dorm room.
  • For your own safety, stay in your dorm after evening check-in. Under no circumstances should you prop any exterior dorm door open.
  • Intentionally overloading an elevator could be cause to have limited use only for handicap assistance, with any maintenance costs becoming the responsibility of the individuals responsible for the maintenance. Tampering with fire alarms will be cause for an immediate trip home at parents’ expense.

Dress: Each student and adult is asked to dress modestly in a way that is appropriate for a Christian youth conference. At Youth Conference modesty includes no underwear showing (guys, as well as girls) and no exposed stomachs or cleavage. Girls’ bathing suits should be modest. Boys should wear boxer-style swimsuits. Shorts must also be mid-thigh.

During Sessions: Courtesy and respect are to be shown to those who are speaking, singing, etc. Please visit the restrooms before the start of any session. In order to minimize distractions, you will not be allowed to go in and out of any session (except for emergencies) once it has begun. To avoid disrupting the session, anyone re-entering the main sessions will have to stay at the back of the seating area for the remainder of that session.

Going Off-Campus: Any student going off-campus must be accompanied by a youth worker or parent. Students are not to go off campus after evening dorm check-in time. Do not take rides from university students or people from the community.

Miscellaneous Guidelines: Fireworks, firearms, alcohol, tobacco, pornography, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, gambling, and weapons of any kind are prohibited at Youth Conference. Water guns or water balloons are restricted to outdoor use and with willing participants.

All participants of Momentum are expected to show appropriate respect for the youth workers, adult staff, campus staff, and the property of the university.
